New Jersey Professional Corporation and PLLC
A professional corporation is governed by the Professional Service Corporation Act, N.J.S.A. 14A:17, including 14A:17-1 and following and 14A:17-3. A professional LLC is formed under the LLC act, N.J.S.A. 42:2C. The formation state fee on the fee schedule is $100, the same as any other for-profit certificate, and the filing is online only. Licensing-board approval is separate from the state fee.
